Following the September update that introduced EA's Javelin anti-cheat, many players using PPPoE dial-up connections have reported being forcibly disconnected upon launching the game and unable to reconnect; furthermore, attempting to restart the computer often results in a failure to reboot properly. Although many users have raised these issues, the developers appear unwilling to provide a response or show any intention of fixing the problem.
