Easy Anti Cheat Not Working

So I have been playing Apex a lot but since today after installing SMITE easy anti-cheat stopped working. When I try to open Apex through Steam after hitting continue on the splash page I get the error that the client isn't running anti-cheat or it's not authenticated. I looked up every tutorial here's what I've tried:

1. Uninstalled SMITE

2. Uninstalled Knockoutcity

       - These were the only other games on my system that used easy anti-cheat

3. Used the repair feature in the easy cheat via the apex folder

4. Verified the game files through Steam

5. Uninstalled and reinstalled Apex

6. Tried the same repair with the new installation

7. Gave admin privileges to all the apex and EAC .exe files

8. Updated my redistributables

9. Turned off the Windows anti-virus while launching

None of these solutions worked and I would appreciate some help. Thank you

I was literally able to play it yesterday and earlier today. Something happened after installing SMITE but I don't know what happened.

I'm so close to just formatting the drive that has all my games but I don't want to do that.
