I have the same issue, same driver. This only happens in Apex. I am pretty mad and bummed out at this point, I tried every fix I found on the web. Please, any help would be appreciated.
DXGI registry tweak fixed that one for me: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Possible-fixes-to-2-crash-issues-DXGI-amp-NO-ERROR-PC-Only/m-p/8730966#M62856
- 6 years agoWhile this may or may not bandaid the issue, it's not the cause of the issue. Adding to the delay your OS takes to wait for a driver to respond still doesn't fix the reason for which it is hanging in the first place. It's like saying "I fixed my car being broken by just looking in the other direction." The crash is just a symptom of the driver hanging too long. The application may not fully crash if you increase the delay, I admit, but it will still hang. The same problem still needs to be addressed.
