Engine Error: Bad signature length - game crashes in lobby upon booting game

Hi, I've starting receiving the above (and the image below) error message since today. I boot up Apex from Steam, game loads, then once I am past the load screen and in the 'lobby' area ready to select a legend/game mode the game freezes, then this error message pops up. Once I click 'Okay' the game crashes. I've tried verifying steam files, uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting PC, etc. Tried rolling back/reinstalling graphics drivers & nothing seems to work for me.

Had a wee google around too and can't seem to find this exact error message anywhere else either.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Same ive tried everything, uninstalling the game, changing config settings, verifying game files, and nothing works. Strange that there is absolutely nothing pertaining to the issue on the internet as well like deadass looked everywhere and theres no trace.

    Hey if you're on steam I'm not sure if it will work but I'm on ea and was having this exact problem what fixed it for me was repairing the game files hopefully this helps if not I wish you luck.

    @CanorisMutafai I know, it's crazy to me. I haven't checked this post in a week because I didn't expect anybody to be able to answer the question when I saw that there's literally nothing online about it. So weird.

    Thanks! Yeah, my next move was to uninstall on Steam and try installing on Origin. Bizarrely, I got exactly the same error message, so seemingly something PC based. Tried repairing install, etc. on their too but to no avail. Such a weird issue.

    Yo i found a fix to it. I guess its something to do with a file on my windows account because i signed into my computer as administrator, booted up apex and it worked. keep trying on my windows account and its saying the same thing but its not a big deal to just switch accounts so there you go.

    Hey, i also had this issue and im not sure why but i installed a application called mem reduct and set it to clean memory when it gets to 60%. Now apex runs just fine.you can downdload it by just searching mem reduct on the web.Im using steam if u need to know.
