Every time I've tried launching the game I'm met with the same screen which says: Error Code: 30005 (CreateFile failed with 32.) The link provided in the error message doesn't cover this and I can't think of any other solution. Anyone else have this?
SOLUTION:
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat and delete the .sys file
the game should now work!

BTW its happends two weeks ago...and in every game with Easy Anticheat.

Exactly the same thing happens to me... Still can't fix it and I talked to support like 3 times?? Is there a freaking fix to this or not? Do we just have to restart our PCs so we could play a game 2nd time in one boot
Yes...but no...
I mind...if i stay with 6 threads the game runs but not right....with stuttering.
If go back to the default threads the game will be broken again with that error.
I prefer reboot and delete easyanticheat.sys than run the PC with only 6 threads.

Im waiting for an answer of EAC...i think is his problem...becouse do the same with all games with EAC.

I solved it right now by excluding these paths: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Apex Legends" and "C:\Users\<yourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\EasyAntiCheat"
from Windows defender virus scan.
I think this SOLVED THE PROBLEM !!!!
at least i try one game...quit....and works ! thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuu
