Apex Legends ranked matches trigger code: tap and return me to the main menu

I have been experiencing an ongoing issue in Apex Legends where, when I try to join a ranked match, I get the error message code: tap and am returned to the main menu.

I am playing on PC.

Casual matches work normally, but this issue occurs frequently only in ranked matches.

I have confirmed the following:

 

• The issue occurs on the Steam version
• The same issue also occurs on a secondary account
• Casual matches are playable
• Only ranked matches return me to the main menu with code: tap
• I am using a wired LAN connection
• Disabling Norton Smart Firewall and Intrusion Prevention did not resolve the issue
• Changing DNS to Google DNS (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4) did not resolve the issue
• Immediately after signing out and signing back in, I can sometimes enter ranked more easily for a short time
• However, after continuing to play, the same issue happens again

Because of this, I believe this may not be account-specific, but instead may be related to a synchronization issue, authentication inconsistency, or a server-side connection problem when joining ranked matches.

Please let me know if there is anything else I should check on my side.

Also, I would appreciate it if you could confirm whether this is a known issue and investigate it if possible.
