[FIXED] PC EA app - Apex Legends Download Keeps Restarting Since May 12, '24

Even though APEX has finished downloading the game, it starts downloading it again as if I had never downloaded it. Pleasa help

so i have a problem with the EA Launcher, that if i download Apex Legends and the download is complete it just restarts the download. I have tried to restart my pc, clear the cache, reinstalling EA Launcher and turning off other programms that might interfere. 

At this point i have asked the EA help support now 2 times and they unfortunately had no answer to my problem and said i should ask the forum.

Something to also know is, that it worked perfectly fine one to two months ago.

Having the same issue now. Last time I had it, I had to wait for the following patch (more than a week) which (I guess) accidentally fixed the issue.

Hi , I have exactly the same problem and I don't know what to do. I searched on google for this exact problem , but no response ....

I've tried to download Apex Legends from the EA app, but every time the progress reaches 100%, it automatically restarts the download from 0% and deletes all the data. I've downloaded the game 7 times in a row and followed all the tips on the internet, but still it doesn't work. 

I've closed all background applications, reinstalled the EA app and executed it as an admin and still nothing gets the job done. 
I simply want to download a game, that can't be so hard, EA.

Hello guys ! The problem I'm facing right now is that whenever I finish downloading apex and the game should be installed and ready to play ,  after a split second the download process is at the beginning , installing it all again . It's like an infinite loop , whenever the download finishes , it sort-of deletes itself and starts to download again . I really need some help because I've never seen something like this before and I have no clue what might be producing this problem . Hope to receive some help soon ! Thanks !!

For me the donload actually happen (seemingly). If I go the the folder I downloaded the game to, I can see lots of files there taking up about the same amount of space as the download said in the EA app (about ~72GB). Still, the EA app wants to download the game again, I do not have any other options beside the "download" button if I select Apex from my game list. I have plenty of available space, also switched install folders (tried on HDD and SSD as well)
