Thanks for posting this!
You can contact EA Help via the EA Help website. Detailed instructions on how to use the EA Help service can be found here.- This doesn't work for everyone. When I do this my game changes resolution then moves to the second monitor and when I try to change it back so its the correct resolution it moves back to the main monitor. The only way I can pay on a second monitor at the moment is either play in windowed or change what monitor is my main monitor both of which are not acceptable solutions.
- @EncoreBlade It don't work for me tho :/
When I do this and move the game to my second monitor, it opens for a brief second then it closes and can’t be opened on that display. Could this be potentially bc of the fact that the secondary monitor is old and the cable attachment is from my HDMI to an adapter for a DVID port? Just wondering, thoughts?
An easy solution for anyone who is still having trouble:
- Play Apex through steam (whether it be non-steam or downloaded through steam)
- Enter Big-Picture mode on steam
- Go to display settings -> resolution -> select your second monitor
Hope this helps!
The way I did this was by making the monitor I wanted to use the main monitor. Go to: Display Settings>Select the monitor> scroll down to Multiple Displays>Selesct "Make this my main display."
This was the best option for me since the resolution is double the size of my other monitors, so when I did the Widows button+arrow keys the game looked too small on my monitor.
thank you! @PatSajakMeOff
i send blessings and good wishes to you and your fams
YOu sir are goated and appreciated
- @PowdyDoody I didn't try this but I feel it's the only thing that might work for me but I can't be bothered to change all my monitors around every time I just wanna play apex... I don't get why this is the only game that does this. I tried all the suggested things and nothing works. Win Key+Shift+Arrow works but then it goes all weird looking and I can't get it to full screen, When I put it full screen on the monitor I want it just goes back to my other one! I try putting windowed screen and move it over and that doesn't work either, when you put back to full screen or borderless window it just goes BACK to the other monitor!! grr omg want to smash pc lol.
