Apex Legends Account Ban Appeal

Dear EA Support Team,

I am writing to formally appeal the permanent ban recently applied to my Apex Legends account.

Account Details:

  • EA Account / Origin ID: QIANSHENGJIE1122
  • Apex Legends Player Name / ID: spaceshipY
  • Platform: Xbox Series X (controller only)
  • Xbox Gamertag: spaceshipY
  • Region: China

 

I received notification that my account was permanently banned for cheating or use of unauthorized software. I am deeply confused by this decision because I am a completely legitimate player who has never used any cheats, hacks, third-party software, macros, or any other prohibited tools.

To provide full context:

  • I play exclusively on Xbox Series X using only the official Xbox controller (no cronus, no strike pack, no mouse/keyboard adapters, no external devices of any kind).
  • Console platforms like Xbox Series X have strict technical restrictions that make cheating effectively impossible for standard players.
  • My gameplay is based entirely on personal skill developed through normal practice—I have never achieved abnormal statistics or performance that would suggest unfair advantages.
  • I always maintain positive and respectful behavior in-game and have never engaged in toxicity, harassment, or any other violations of the Terms of Service.

 

I strongly believe this ban is a false positive detection. Possible explanations could include:

  • Temporary unauthorized access attempts on my account (I have since changed my password and enabled two-factor authentication).
  • Misinterpretation of normal gameplay data by the anti-cheat system.
  • Network latency or connection issues that may have caused unusual telemetry.

 

Apex Legends is a game I truly enjoy and have invested significant time in as a relaxing hobby. This ban has caused me considerable disappointment, and I respectfully request that you manually review my account activity and match data.

I am fully willing to cooperate and provide any additional information you require, such as recent login history, gameplay screenshots, or other evidence that demonstrates legitimate play.

Thank you for taking the time to reconsider this case. I sincerely hope you will lift the ban so I can return to playing fairly and in compliance with all EA rules.

  • I don't know why my account is banned. When I play games, I usually play on the Xbox game console. Only when the game has activities, I will recharge money on Steam-PC. It's just a bigger discount. My ban shows that my PC platform is banned, I usually play games on the console.

    I'm sorry, you're on the community boards. We aren't able to help with bans.

    Our Terms of Service team can take a look into a ban or suspension for you. If you believe there was some sort of mix-up in the application of that ban, send an appeal and it'll reach them. This guide will help you show you how to reach out to them and includes some advice on filling out the web form to appeal to it.
