FPS drops after latest update

After the latest update in Apex Legends, I am experiencing severe and inconsistent FPS drops.

My FPS changes dramatically depending on where I look in-game:

In low-detail areas: ~200–240 FPS

In high-detail areas: drops to ~60–70 FPS

This happens even on the lowest graphics settings.

My system specs:

GPU: RTX 3070

CPU: Intel i7-12700

RAM: 16GB

Latest drivers installed

Windows updated

Before the update, performance was stable and significantly more consistent.

I have already tried:

Lowering all graphics settings

Updating GPU drivers

Verifying game files

Disabling background applications

The issue persists and appears to be related to the latest game update optimization.

Please advise or escalate this issue.
