Game crashes after the initial load screen only on ea app but not on steam

Apex works fine in my Steam account but it won't open on the EA App. The game enters the initial load screen but instead of showing the main menu the screen stays black then crashes with no crash report/error code. I bought the ultimate battle pass in the EA App to make use of the 10% discount from EA Play included in game pass and I just need the game to open through ea app so I can have the battle pass register in my profile so I can play in steam again. I have tried clearing cache in EA App, repairing the game, and also the .bak solution I saw in another forum. I also tried logging in apex in the ea app on another computer but the game crashes there as well but other accounts work fine on that computer. Maybe there is a problem in connection to my ea app version of apex?
