Game freezes constantly in menus/in game/in queue

Hi there, this has probably been posted before but I have tried everything and nothing has worked for me. Recently I got back into Apex on Steam but only now it has started to freeze randomly in game, during queue or even when just changing menus or sometimes just completely freezing and forcing me to force shut down my laptop (this has never happened before)

I have tried:

  • Setting priority for EasyAntiCheat to Low

  • Disabling full screen optimisations and running as administrator

  • Set performance graphics in settings thing to high performance

  • Set in game graphics settings to the lowest for everything and reducing resolution

  • Clean boot

  • Enabling firewall access for both EasyAntiCheat and the game

  • Deleting it on Steam and downloading on Origin

  • Verifying game files

  • Set max FPS to 60

  • Playing in borderless window

  • Compatibility mode for Windows 8

I am running Windows 11 and my specs are:

11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz

Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics

16GB RAM

This problem hasn’t occured before for me, does anyone have a solution or a similar experience?

    Been happening to me the last couple weeks. I've called EA tech support and they just tell me to do what you have listed here. Doesn't help. Basically had no solution for me. Thanks EA

    Me too!

    On mine, when login first even the advertisement picture is not loaded properly (pixelated/corrupted like image)
    legend screen not having any legend loaded, sometimes, after waiting they loaded properly

    when click change modes, if its still corrupted like image, it usually will go freezing and not responding.

    i can only play when joining friend party ( so that no need to change modes) and usually after 1 game, on next game, i will get disconnected ☹️ 


    i tried all thing too like clean boot and reinstall apex fully, also trying turn on and off shader cache nvidia

    Just recently happen too (i think last week still okay when i play, already play for months)

    here i post screenshot what it's like when freezing (also to show the corrupted/pixelated image like in the pride right ads , which sometimes is back to normal)

    @surrealseal2977 ok i solve my problem, from my friend suggestion, holy frick this is a random error.. i am using windows 11, and i must turn off all firewall. after that its not crashing anymore..

    god i dont know i must hate respawn or microsoft for this problem..

    hopefully ur problem solved also
