GPU spikes with S8

i was able to play all fine a month ago(took a break) ,most settings on low, today first time playing S8 went to training ground check aim since long time ihavent played All fine for few mins or so ...

Hey @AVa1des,

I recently saw a similar report of this happening on the newest NVIDIA drivers. If possible, can you try rolling back to the previous driver to test and see if the same performance issues are still happening?

@EA_KentI am also having this issue, started at the beginning of S8, this happens on Origin as well as Steam, while mine does not completely lock me from being able to play, after the initial GPU spike I will continue to get random lag spikes throughout gameplay at random intervals, sometimes as often as once every minute or so.
Specs
Ryzen 7 2700x
32GB Corsair Dominator RAM (3600Mhz)
RTX 2080 8GB
Current nVidia driver: 461.40 -- Issue persists
all nVidia drivers tried
461.09 -- Issue persists
460.89 -- Issue persists
Attempted Verification of game files -- no issues found
Attempted delete and reinstall -- issue persists
New Driver hotfix is available on nVidia forums, will install, test and report back after checking 461.50
**UPDATE**
461.50 -- issue persists
issue does not appear to be linked to graphics fidelity, as this issue occurs at the same rate on the lowest possible settings as well as the highest.
