Horrible performance with good specs, since a lot of time.

After many months trying to fix things alone, I started to think my PC is not the problem.

I cannot play a full match without running into input lag, huge framerate drops (from 200-230 fps to 80-100 fps), and everything feels choppy and laggy.

CONFIG:

Ryzen 5 3600
RX5700XT Nitro+

16GB (8x2) 3200C16 but also tried overclocking to 3600Mhz while keeping C16 (still no difference)

Corsair CX550M (also tried other PSU I have around (among which I also have a 750GQ from EVGA and an Antec EA750G) in order to know if there was something wrong with my power supply)

B450 Gaming Plus Max (updated at the latest BIOS, updated from older versions trying to see if there was something wrong)

Now, my config is not bad at all. I should have all that I need to play apex legends at a stable framerate between 120-160 fps without too much fps drop, but honestly, I can't.

WHAT I HAVE ALREADY TRIE (hoping to remember everything I have done):

- CPU Overclock: no improvements

- GPU Overclock: no improvements

- Thermal paste replacements: no improvements

- RAM Overclock: no improvements

- Windows clean installation (tried multiple times, no effects whatsoever)

- Replacing my hard drive: no improvements

- Installing on internal SSD: no improvements

- Running from steam and origin to see if I had problems on steam only: no difference

- Tried verifying game cache multiple times: no improvements

- Tried multiple settings' tweaks (from Panjno guides to thousands other guides), by editing registry, motherboard options, windows options, launch options, in-game options, game files settings and so on: no improvements

- Disabled antivirus: no improvements

- Tried capping FPS: no improvements (also, the GPU load stays lower and I also have more FPS drops)

- Tried re-installing AMD drivers (after cleaning with DDU) multiple times, from older versions (even drivers from December 2019 to nowadays'  drivers)

Performance is pure crap, temperatures are good, GPU usage drops continuously both if I set high or low settings, and I keep dropping fps, lagging and having input lag. Game feels unplayable 80% of the match.

I honestly don't know what to do next, I'm sick of using my time trying to fix things I should not  be wasting my time on, I just wanna play the game.
