How do I fix this? (Is there even a fix?)

I just switched over to Steam from PS5. I liked my steam account to the existing account I had on ps5 and when I log on I am level 1. When I go on apex via ps5 all my stuff is gone and I am back to level 1. What can I do to fix this or am I screwed?

    Hey @ChickensGoYurrrr,

Unlinking an account will cause a loss of progress. If you have progress on two separate EA accounts, there's not a way to combine that into a single account.

If you recently linked an account and have lost progress as a result, you'll need to re-link that to the original EA account to attempt restoring that progress.

We have some additional information about this particular situation in our blog and guides below, but if you have any issues re-linking your accounts please reach back out to support so they can help get your platform account back to its original EA account.

  • I did reach out to support about both cross progression and loosing my progress. I was told to "wait" for a fix to happen. As if it is based on a time frame.

    Hi @ChickensGoYurrrr,

If this was due to an unlink, there is no fix aside from just moving the account back to its original EA account.

We wouldn't be able to grant access to content that was earned on a different EA account, so you'd just need to try re-linking the original accounts to regain access to that content.

There is not a way to combine that across multiple EA accounts I'm afraid.
  • I linked my steam to my original account that was based on PlayStation. I was supposed to link my psn account to my steam account instead? @EA_Mako

Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This means if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress.

Ultimately it doesn't matter which way you would have moved it, if you had two different EA accounts there was no way to combine that progress from the start unfortunately.
