I can't get past the title screen in Apex on PS4

I can't get past the title screen in Apex on PS4 there is no error message it just says retrieving matchmaking list then attempting connection and goes to the lobby screen for a millisecond then instantly goes back to the title screen.

@d1rtycheese98 Please verify that
1: You're game is up-to-date:
2: Verify your PS is all up-to-date.
3: Clear your ps4 Cache

If nothing above works, please try to uninstall/reinstall the game, and reinstall it on the original hard driver.

also everything else works fine its just apex

@EzyHawk Why do you suggest something that does nothing but wasting time? Do a little research before you comment and you will find out that this a problem that a lot of players have been dealing with since before s8. It has NOTHING to do with the players, this is 100% on EA’s end!!!

I entered the lobby by repeatedly pressing the □ button and the L2R2 button.
