Infinite Loading Screen and Technical Issues After Genesis Update

I'm surprised you can run the game at all with discord. If you have the discord overlay enabled, for me at least it made the game crash every single time. So, if you have that enabled I expect issues. And about the black loading screen, I had that on the day the update came out and it fixed itself within the same day and never happened again. To me it seemed like a server issue.

  @EA_Barry None of these help... I have tried all of the above, including "immediately connecting again" as stated in the post you linked (see in my post where I said if I click continue again, it loads directly into lobby, has stutters and audio distortion, then subsequent games are a horrible experience, with absurd load times resulting with me being thrown into arena matches at almost the end of round 1) until finally my game crashes or I get another error...

    oh, if it doesn't straight up crash or error out, it does an infinite hang at the loading screen for whatever map is being loaded... I'm just trying to be as specific as possible because I haven't been able to play since the patch, and I see that I'm obviously not the only one...sorry for the multiple posts, I just found the edit button xD

I don't expect issues. I've been playing Apex with discord enabled since Season 0 with no problem. This is all new and happens regardless of Discord being open or not.

  @RoyalNerdGaming now that mate is where you have gone wrong. you should be expecting issues every time an event drops. happens to me every event except it gets fixed quicker. this is the first time that so many issues have occurred in one update that caused me to finally decide to report it and stuff. and honestly the conversations with the EA help service doesn't help much so just wait. they'll tell you to do troubleshooting when its server side so you can't do anything about it
