- Has anyone got this fixed I have a 2070 super and my gpu is at 91 % on ultra or low settings 1440 or 1080 i9900ks 32 ram 4000 Msi godlike z370 560 rads 590 reservoirs mono block ram water block all temps are low
- @bigcanadianbacn Got the same problem. Similiar specs too. 2070 super ryzen 7 3700x 32ram x570 mobo
Same issues still - 1080ti oc strix, 7700k oc to 4.8ghz, 16 gb ram 3200mhz - native 1440p, 165hz monitor and I try to play on capped stable 148fps to deload my gpu, because even on everything off / low/ disabled - PC heavily optimized with almost every background service disabled, priority high on Apex - GPU load is very high (80-98%), even with some videoconfig, dvs optimisations.
It's insane that this game, since I first played it in season 0 is still a mess on a medium/highend PC.
ps. high gpu load introduces high input delay and makes game unresponsive and floaty - try youtube channel battle(non)sense for more info. And now we have the system override event still have the issue on the lowest of settings up to the nvidia suggested settings no difference 90+ gpu usage
Apex still a mess
I've had the same issue for about a year now, and after reading this whole thread, only one solution came to mind, that really helped me.
It all started when I bought a 144hz monitor and set it up. After switching it to 100hz it used less GPU.Hi people!
I've went through EVERY single forum I could, reddit, EA, even on youtube, and tried EVERY single solution mentioned anywhere, and all I achieved was reducing CPU usage from 100% to around 70-80 which is really good, however my GPU is still 99-100% and I don't want it to run like this all the time. Have anyone found any solid solution to this? Turning off gaming mode in WIN did not help. Turning off/on V-sync did not help (it actually did the opposite, cuz thanks to that I got stuck at 30 FPS in WoW, which I fixed after a few minutes..).
I've seen people had those issue last year and I see people having them this year too, and noone has idea what is happening! For me, it started I dont't even know when. One time I just popped the game as always and noticed huge FPS drops in my first game, later on it was all good, but it made me think what's wrong, so I opened the task manager and noticed this double 100% usage. Immediatelly turned the game on and haven't played a few days.
I believe it may be something with WIN updates, but I am not sure cause I can't redo last patch (too old). Will appreciate any new ideas.
QUICK EDIT: GPU Usage SHOULD be at 100%, because that's how many Apex reserves and needs, if the CPU usage is 100% however, then you should worry about it. Same if the GPU usage is lower then 90%, means something could be wrong.
Hi EA/Respawn.
Same issue.
9900K
1080ti OC
16gig DDR 4000
Any ideas?
Regards
one year later still have the same issue why they didn't fix that
my gpu reaches 80 degrees (GTX 1070 ti) with 99 usage

Having this same problem with RTX 2080. Literally playing any other game I do not have any problems. Please DEVS help save our GPU's!!
- @EA_Atic I have a 3900xt, 32gb RAM, and a RTX 2080S, I'm running Apex on my 1440p monitor at 144hz and it is sending my GPU to 100% utilization. I have tried switching it down to 1080p but no luck. Any word on better optimizing this game?
