Issues after Cross Progression is activated on your account? Check here first!

I've been on this post before because in the past I had accidentally disconnected my xbox account from an ea account with a different email to connect it to the account under the same email and all my progress and cosmetics were lost. The fix I was told was to wait until I could relink my account back to the account it was originally linked to but that didn't solve the problem. Keep in mind I waited 5 months to be able to relink my account just to find out that my content was all deleted. Is there no way to help me with this? No compensation for a bug? I had 2 heirlooms and over 2100 hours on the account all for it to disappear.
