Issues with linking PlayStation Network accounts to EA.

I currently have two EA accounts, which I'll refer to as EA1 and EA2, and two PlayStation Network accounts, which I'll call PS1 and PS2.

Initially, PS1 was connected to EA1, while PS2 was linked to EA2. However, both PS1 and PS2 accounts have now been disconnected because I wish to connect the PS2 account to EA1. The issue is that when I attempt to link the PS2 account to EA1, I receive an error message.

The error states that EA1 is still connected to PS1 and therefore cannot be linked to another PlayStation account. This situation is perplexing since I had previously disconnected these accounts. I cannot understand the reason for this error, and I'm unsure how to resolve it. I have considered removing the PS1 account from the Sony website, but this solution seems extreme and may not solve the problem. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter.

    Hey @andrep4ppy,

You won't be able to link a different PSN account to an EA account that has previously had a different PSN account linked.

Each EA account can only have one account from each other platform linked, which is likely why you're seeing that error.

This won't give you the option as a result, but you can try reaching out to support directly to see if they have any other options available to help get the correct accounts linked.

EA2 shares the same email as PS2, while EA1 and PS1 have different emails from each other.

I am updating my current situation. I have closed the PS1 account through the PlayStation website, and I have attempted to link the PS2 account to the EA1 account, but I continue to receive the same error. In the meantime, I have received an email from Sony confirming that the PS1 account has not been permanently closed yet, and it will require waiting for 30 days before it is fully deactivated. After these 30 days, will I be able to link the PS2 account to the EA1 account? I will keep those interested updated.

Hello everyone! For those of you who are reading this post because you find yourselves in the same situation, I want to let you know that there's no need to delete your PlayStation account. You can simply get in touch with an EA representative who will update the link for you, allowing you to connect a new PS4 account to your EA account.
