Keyboard being changed to US

amazing 6 years later and I have the same issue

Sorry, but this is the game's fault. Everyone can change the keyboard layout with hotkeys, but the fact the game installs keyboard language without any notice is the worst part. 

No game should set/install a language and switch to that one when installing it or running the game. 

Please, read the issues we've been facing and then complain. Hotkeys are an easy way out, but we're not looking for the easy way out. We're looking for a fix for this to not keep happening!!

took me less than an hour to figure this out you fools still here blaming the game when all you have to do is read second message and go "ooh... same hotkey as windows i guess"

yeah anyways.. not game's fault... go to windows settings -> Time & Language -> Language -> Spelling, Typing & keyboard settings -> advanced keyboard settings -> input language hot keys -> change key sequence -> select not assigned for both 

Happy 2nd anniversary keyboard bug

Hello sleeping devs, this is friggin annoying.

This bug is terrible. Why does the game automatically installs us keyboard? Whenever i slide around i accidently keep switching between us and ger keyboard with ctrl + shift + space. I cant move around for a second and its stupid for chatting aswell.

I got the same problem.
People tell me to just change it back but my issue with this is that the game INSTALLS a US-English keyboard.
I dont need it, I dont want it, it shouldnt be there.
I delete the keyboard in windows, play Apex, and its back again.
When I finish playing my keyboard is in us-english.

Its frustrating beyond belief.
