Lag and crackling sound on the lobby

I'm using Intel i5 2400, 16GB RAM, and 1060 3GB.

What I've done to try to fix this:

  1. Delete friend list.

  2. OC my GPU

  3. Using advanced launched option.

  4. Reinstall my Apex

  5. Lowering my graphics setting

  6. Changing server.

This happen only on the beginning of the lobby. After about 10 second this problem gone.

Anyone has another idea how to fix this? please help me..

Any suggestion really appreciated. Thanks guys!

Does this crackling only happen with Apex?

(Also is this crackling audible on recordings?)

    Hello,

Try also to fiddle with the AMD/Nvidia Freesync/Gsync-settings. It is weird but on Apex, if you select something that optimizes too much of the sync settings, game gets freakingly laggy (including both AMD and Nvidia GPU's) including input lag (with icons) and big jump on server pings. Smthing is really * up.

Cracking sounds are related to e.g. Redeon enchaned sync and Nvidias Optimized sync latencies. 1st i was sure that amd had made things strange, but did my homework and similar issues happens with Nvidia if Sync is too optimized. Add that with mouse poll rate of 1000 and you are ... laggy.

Unfortunately my monitor doesn't have that feature.

What do you mean by Nvidias Optimized sync? Do you mean Nvidia Reflex? I've tried to disable it, but the result still the same. ☹️

Nvidia's optimized sync on their driver settings, related to Gsync (if you are using it). There should be information available how to disable optimed sync to "normal", that should work..
