Lag and FPS drops

Since Season 4 I've noticed the game is getting laggier and laggier, and with season 7 the lag and apparent rush work are more obvious than ever. Regardless of whether or not I play on PS4 or PC the game lags, I watch teammates and enemies rubber banding everywhere, shots don't register, and enemies seemingly teleport around corners. I don't want to see someone come and say "Oh it sounds like a hardware issue/ you have a bad connection, etc" because my pc can run just about any game on the highest graphics settings at a stable 60 FPS MINIMUM, and both my PS4 and PC are wired into my network, and my connection speeds are more than enough to run 3 PS4 consoles on it and all play games together (I actually did that once, Apex surprisingly worked well.) So what I'd like to know is why is the game having so many strokes when I try playing it in Season 7? I really want to like this game, but there's always some massive problem that keeps me from enjoying the matches I play.
