Lighting issues in Apex

I am having some lighting / shadow issues in s22 of Apex. I have attached a imgur link below with what happens, this occurs frequently where moving around the map / in and out of buildings etc and I am wondering if anyone else has had the issue and has found a fix. I have treied lowering all settings / disabling shadows in the config and using auto exec but no luck.

Specs are belowIntel Core i9 13900KS, 24C/32T, 3.2GHz – 6.0GHz
64GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 6200MHz DDR5
24GB ASUS GeForce RTX 4090

  • Looks like SSAO / Dynamic range is misinterpreting the lighting. Couple of things I would try first:

    • Open NVIDIA control panel
      • Display Tab -> Change Resolution -> Output Dynamic Range (bottom right): Set this to full.
    • Disabling settings in game:
      • Ambient Occlusion Quality (this is SSAO)
      • Volumetric Lighting
      • Dynamic Spot Shadows
      • Effects Detail (probably redundant)
    • Verify Game Files / Repair Game
      • This will trigger the shaders to reoptimize.

  • Thanks for your recomendations mate, I tried all of them but to no avail.

I did notice a slight improvement I think with the ambient occulsion setting but the issue is still there and quite prominent.
