Linking and Unlinking Issue

Hello, so i recently was able to change my email address on me EA Account associated with my xbox account, therefore allowing me to unlink my xbox account in order to relink to my main EA Account that I use on my PC. I wanted to do this in order to gain my cross progression from my xbox account. However, i was unaware that when unlinking, it would delete all progress I obtained on my xbox account.

My question is, if I have EA unlink the xbox account from my PC account, and relink it to my old account I used for my xbox, will it show all my progress again? Or is that progress permanently deleted since it was already unlinked?

    The EA Help article 'Unlink your platform accounts from your EA Account' shares this:

    But it also calls this out:

    I'd assume you'll run into the 6-month timer error. There's no way to bypass that from the account portal. I'm not sure if the support team can help but if you'd like to enquire just in case, please reach out to them directly. They'll take a look at the account and let you know what can be done from there once you've passed the security stage with them. This guide will share more on how to reach the support team:
