Linking new Steam account

Is there another way that i can link another steam account to my previously Steam-linked EA account? i just unlinked my old steam account because i had no access to its recovery mail and i forgot my ...

    Hey @friendlystick,

    Unfortunately an EA account is only able to be linked with one of another type of account in its lifetime, so if you've linked a Steam account previously, you won't be able to link a new one. We have an article with a bit more information here:

    You may still be able to access your save data if you launch the game through the EA app however, as progress carries over between the two platforms.

So because i linked the wrong steam account (as i have 2 under different emails and forgot which one was which), i cant unlink and relink the right one? its just impossible? why is that, it wouldnt be a problem but the EA app rarely works as indented.
