Linux players getting banned

Im also part of this new august ban wave.. I wasn't hit in the first wave, so I kept playing like nothing happened.
Today I got the same message like all you others.

Haven't recieved any emails yet, but it says the "The client's game account has been banned: Banned".

So sad this happened, my kd is 0.96 Gold 1, no way im cheating.. LMAO!

@Kagedrengen you should get the email about an hour or so later, that's what happened to me

the email should say you got banned for cheating, and the ban history will most likely have the reason be blank as well

I have no active suspension in "My Ban History" and haven't yet received any emails regarding this issue.

Lets hope my 1700+ hour account is not gone for good.. Atleast I only spend 5$ for battlepass, and nothing else.

  Hi, just want to update that I was really busy yesterday and today, but almost all the cases should be here:

  Anyway, since EA team is probably not working today, we should get some type of answer on the start of this week, the mod on the Reddit that have a contact that help us last time is waiting for an answer, so far I can just thank you y'all for taking the time to comment about your situation, is good to not be alone in moments like this

  I have now received the email regarding my false ban, what's the deal now.
  Should I appeal it right away or wait for further instructions ?

    I recently got the email stating the following:
    Hello,
    
    Thanks for contacting us about your account action.
    
    We got your note and did a full investigation of your account. After reviewing your case, we determined that we took the correct action in accordance with EA policies and procedures.
    
    What this means
    
    We have confirmed that your account was involved in cheating. Because of this, we will not remove the sanction on your account.
    
    You break our rules(https://www.ea.com/terms-of-service#section6) if you:
    • use software that interferes with or disrupts an EA Service or another user’s account.
    • use undocumented features, exploits or cheats in-game that disrupts an EA Service or another user’s account.
    • use software or cheats that disconnects other users from the EA servers.
    as far as I know linux is an official platform to play on and I hope that I get unbanned. I do not use any of the latencyflex software or vk whatevers that I have now had learned about from other users.
    I hope this issue gets resolved soon and I get to enjoy the game with my friends.
