Cross Progression Issue - EA account does not have my PSN account progress

Hi, I am looking for some help here getting my PSN data back for apex legends. I have over 600+ hours on apex on PSN and have spent a fair amount of money on the game. I got a PC and had my PSN account linked before downloading the game, but when I got on it my same gamertag appeared just a completely wiped fresh account. I have been playing on it since then, but would really like to get my progress back. Is there any way I can get this fixed? Thanks.

  • lupritive Your Apex progress is stored on the EA Account level, (not on PlayStation), so did you unlink your PlayStation Account at any point, or are logged into the wrong EA Account?

What do you mean? Were they rude, or just couldn't help you?

I believe I did everything right. I do not think I ever unlinked my playstation account and just for reference I just signed in on my playstation to see if everything is there and everything is reset now. Literally it's like my account got deleted when I switched over to PC. Is there any possible way to get this stuff back? I appreciate your help Midnight9746

    Hey lupritive,

Is it possible you have another email or EA account that may have been used in the past? While this may be the same PSN account you've played on previously, it looks like your recent login was the first time Apex has ever been launched on PlayStation using the EA account you're posting with now. Since you've got so many hours on Apex, that must have been linked to a different EA account previously.

It also looks like the PC progress is fairly recent, towards the end of last year being the first time Apex was played on PC from this EA account. That may be normal as you've mentioned switching to PC, but this EA account in general has had very little Apex activity as a result.

I'd try logging into the EA website with any other emails you may have used in the past to double-check whether another EA account exists. If there's an email you can no longer access or an account you can't recall the login details for, it'd be best to contact support directly so they can try to verify and update the account(s) as needed.

Essentially you will need to try and locate whatever EA account was used in the past and make sure the PSN is linked there instead. The support team should be able to take a look at the links during the process of recovering/updating any older account as well.
