Logitech G600 Mouse lagging when rotating camera

So I've localized this issue to the specific Logitech G600 mouse that I'm using but I'm not sure why it's happening. I've tested it on two Logitech G600 mice and one generic Targus mouse and I'm having issues with the two G600 mice but not the Targus mouse. Here is what I'm experiencing

  • The game lags when I try to move my camera
  • The lights on the mouse lag, they seem to stutter and not transition smoothly
  • I can move the mouse cursor in the menus just fine
  • I don't have this issue in any other games

Not sure why this is happening but any suggestions or fixes would be appreciated. I would really rather not play on a $10 mouse

  • Try this:

Navigate to your game files and right click your r5apex.exe

open properties and go to the compatability tab.

    disable fullscreen optimisation and apply.

    then test game

  • Same here by 1st, 3rd, 4th points. I'm using Logitech G102 and problems with mouse-moving lags occur very often (but sometimes game runs perfectly fine).
Lags like mouse sensor turning off and on every time I move it.

Have you figured out a fix for this? I've tried adjusting the DPI and polling rate in the Logitech software but it hasn't improved it.

  • I had a g502 but had the same issue. I changed the polling rate from 1000 to 250 and that did the trick!

  • I had a similar issue with my game, didn’t happen in menus and my mouse would constantly lock and stutter ingame.

The cause of the problem for me was was because i followed some bad advice previously that recommended to set r5apex.exe’s CPU priority to High (via regedit) in order to avoid crashing.

Lots of other people commented on that advice reporting mouse issues ingame. Sorry if this doesn’t apply to you, but make sure that the game is running at normal priority.
