My EA Account was suddenly deleted

My account of 4+ years was deleted out of absolutely nowhere and progress account countless games has been wiped clean. And me the genius that I am created a new account under that same email which is the one im creating this post under. Is there any way I can restore my old account or am I royally screwed?

Hi, sorry to hear how worrying and urgent this has been after finding that your account appears to have been deleted. I can understand wanting help with that as quickly as possible.

That said, account issues can only be handled by the support team. The chatbot is mainly there to collect players’ details first, so the case can be routed properly. It’s meant to gather the information an advisor would usually ask for upfront and help reduce back-and-forth. Please make sure you’ve chosen the correct account-related issue category as well, as the system may otherwise think a self-help article could address the problem.

If you’re restoring a deleted account and haven’t created a new EA Account with the same email address as your deleted account, you may be able to restore your deleted account through a password reset.

If you’ve created a new EA Account with the same email, you’ll need to change the email address on the new account first in order to reset the password for the deleted one.

Even if your EA Account is recovered successfully, we can’t guarantee you’ll get everything back that you originally had. It can also take up to three hours before you regain access to your deleted EA Account.

y608r6k30d25 If the original EA Account had been fully deleted, there's sadly no way to recover the account.

If the original EA Account just had the email address on it changed, there is a way to recover that account, which can be done by contacting EA Support.

Oh wow, so the only way to find out if it's gone gone is to contact EA support then, huh. Well thanks for the reply.

y608r6k30d25 That's correct as account related issues sadly cannot be helped with on the forums since you have to provide information to prove that the account belongs to you.

Did you ever sort this out? Same thing has happened to me, and I can only access the EA chatbot which is useless and I am so mad! EA do not actually want to help
