Longtime Fair Player Banned After Return – Requesting Manual Review

Dear EA Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I’m writing to appeal the permanent ban placed on my Apex Legends account on July 5, 2025. I have submitted two appeal emails through the official channels, but aside from an automatic response, I have not received any detailed reply or explanation. I am reaching out again with the hope of receiving a fair and transparent review.

I fully support EA’s ongoing efforts to maintain a competitive and fair gaming environment. However, I believe this ban is the result of a misunderstanding, and I’d like to provide some context in all honesty.

To clarify:

  • On one or two occasions, I let a trusted friend from another city briefly use my account. It wasn’t account sharing in the habitual or boosting sense — just occasional access out of personal trust.
  • Neither I nor my friend ever used cheats, hacks, scripts, or any unauthorized tools. We are both clean, rule-abiding players who respect the integrity of the game.
  • My gameplay history, stats, and behavior have always been consistent and clean, with no suspicious activity.
  • I have invested over 1,500 hours into this account and spent a significant amount of money and time building it. Apex Legends is not just a game to me — it’s a part of my life.

What makes this even more heartbreaking is that I had just returned to the game this season because I felt that the recent changes were incredibly well done — exciting, balanced, and refreshing. I was planning to invest even more time and money into the game long-term because I truly enjoy it.

In fact, this season I reached Diamond III and was actively preparing to push toward Master rank. I was more motivated than ever, and then the sudden ban completely shattered me. I can’t describe how painful and discouraging it was to lose everything without understanding why.

I understand that rules are important, and I accept responsibility for letting someone else briefly use my account. But I ask from the bottom of my heart: Is a permanent ban really the only outcome for something that was done without malicious intent and without breaking gameplay rules?

I respectfully ask for a manual case review by a senior representative, and if possible, a clear explanation of what specifically triggered the ban. I’m not asking for special treatment — just fairness, transparency, and a chance to continue with the game I love.

Thank you for your time and for building the Apex Legends community. I truly hope this can be resolved, and that I can return to the game in good faith.

Hi there. We cannot directly help with bans over the EA Forums. If you haven't already submitted 3 disputes, please follow the instructions in this article to submit another. Thanks!

EA_Aljo I do hope you are giving feedback to your ToS Team as these cases get's more and more worrying. A lot of people are getting permanent bans without a reason. Im thinking your automated system pick up a lot of false cases. Doing so without giving people a reason why and locking them from accessing or deleting data is against GDPR rules.
