I'm sorry to say, relinking an account to the original account does not guarantee the content and progress will return. Unfortunately, we don't have a way to return it.

So now all of my progress including the money I put into it is permanently gone?
Community ManagerUnfortunately, yes. We never advise you unlink an account. There is a warning when doing this as well. Relinking to the original account does not guarantee progress and content will return.
I feel like there should at least be a little more safeguards in place to prevent something like this from occurring, maybe the information being stored differently so at least nobody else in the future would have to go through losing all of their progress and possible hundreds of real life dollars put into the game. I just lost my mother yesterday and just wanted to alleviate some stress and play this and get back my old stuff and wasn't even able to get that. Thanks anyways I guess.
