Lost most of my 3/4k damage badges as well. Quite annoying but not the end of the world.
Hey folks, badges are similar to stats in that they are not merged, but are determined by which account was your primary account for the merge.
Some badges from Apex Legends’ earlier seasons previously earned on a non-primary account (an account that wasn’t the highest level at the time of Cross Progression) may not have been merged into the new Cross Progression enabled account which will be used going forward.
If these badges can be earned again through future gameplay, that is the only way to reacquire these badges.
For badges that cannot be obtained again due to their nature - e.g. a badge awarded for completing a former season’s Battle Pass or achieving a particular rank in an old season - Respawn continues to investigate returning these badges to affected users in the future.
We will communicate further about this investigation and its outcome at a later date.
- 2 years ago@EA_Mako There should have been some consideration to players who stopped playing their main accounts and switched platforms prior to the level cap increase. It's shortsighted to go with the highest level account - that doesn't mean the most progress. There should have been at least an option to choose which account you want as your main. You are going to have a significant amount of players who have lost their badges and progress because of this - I can't see a scenario where this isn't reviewed and reversed.
Can you verify if there are backups of badges and stats that exist from all accounts, even after the merge? - 2 years ago
I understand that that was the the company chose to go and I do appreciate the merger however I am a catalyst main. Before the merge I had over 3k kills and multiple high kill badges for my main. All my best badges were earned after moving to PC. Now I hate running any trackers or badges cause it's just the kills I've got since the merge. 3k down to like 200+. So lame and the lack of communication/choice was not the wave.

I have been a PlayStation player since apex dropped (100% my main account with highest lvl etc). I earned master badges multiple times in ranked over the seasons and have used them with all my legends. I got a PC recently and think it would be cool to try the game out on PC finally, see no message about losing all this I grinded hrs for, only to discover that all my master badges have been replaced with BRONZE. ...like are we for real? I literally only have bronze badges now.. even when I went back to my PlayStation to see, they are all bronze. I go to my PlayStation ranked stats and its clear still that I made masters many times.
I completely get the separation of ranks between PC and console lobbies, even separating the badges makes sense.. but why an earth not make it so that the badges earned on console can be applied on console and the badges earned on PC can be applied on PC. If I couldn't apply my master badges to my legends when playing on PC I would see that as fair but don't take them away from my console account.
If I knew it would be like this I honestly would have kept everything separate and just played PC with doo doo skins.
PLEASE FIX THIS - my banners look trash rip.

Hey @catsoul666,
The issue you're describing isn't actually related to Cross Progression. That is a separate issue that's come up since the recent patch.
Feel free to check this thread for more updates as we get them on that situation! Locking the thread here to avoid confusion as it's a bit older and on a separate issue.
