Lost connection to PlayStation Network and EA Servers

Apex on PS4 has been giving me hell for the last few weeks (since the start of season 12). I never know when I'm going to be able to connect. I frequently get the error in the title "Lost connection ...

I was having the same problem and I changed the password to my PSN account, logged back in and could then successfully connect to EA servers. 

Not saying this is 100 percent but worked in my case.
