- @UncleLemonbee Add another victim with this unsolved issue to the list. I'm still dealing with this over 2 weeks later. Haven't even heard back in a week from T.O.S. people investigating any issues with my account.
This is how they help a 3+ year player with $100's invested in their game.
Here come the "solutions" of, reboot everything, clear origin cache, reinstall everything, use google's dns that they reply with --every time--, followed with the inevitable "that didn't fix anything" outcome. Then silence..... At least it seems their wait is only 20min. I can play trios, duos, whatever but the minute you uncheck the "fill teammates" button, nothing. Just an eternity of random players in queue numbers and an infinite wait. Im going on 4 weeks now, FOUR WEEKS I havent been able to get into a game solo. Why? How can every other matchmaking mode work, but not allow me into a game by myself to practice? Shop works flawlessly, naturally, and hell Id be happy to even get a response even if it was the same old tired line "iTs YoUr CoNnEcTiOn", which, it obviously cant be, since I can still play the game if I choose to have teammates. But here I am 4 weeks in with several posts over several forums and not one single reply on this. I really love the game just sucks Im not allowed to play the way I want to.
@Priapus1337Try a different server and see if it works there. I can get into "no-fill" games, but not on my usual local servers. As a bonus, I get a "this profile is not permitted to play online" message on boot, yet I can still play. I've used my network, my cellphone, a vpn, and geforce now -- all give that same message and connection issues. My friend came over and tried to play with his own laptop/account on my network and got that message and had the same No-Fill server weirdness. Yet, as a team - we could play together on our usual server. Though the "not permitted to play online" message has now "infected" him when he plays at home. Neither of us have had a ban or done anything to cause one. Despite that, having my issue brought up with the TOS people, flagged "priority" even has only resulted in my case being tagged closed/fixed while I've not received one iota of communication on what the hell is happening. Frustration doesn't even begin to describe the feeling. 3500+ hours, over 3 years and $100s spent playing Apex to be treated so poorly by "customer service".
3 weeks later, still monitoring several posts on this forum and others, still no response? Not even a canned "cHek Ur nEtwOrk"? I dont understand how everything worked just fine, none of these queue issues till that patch/update, and dead silence? I know they have said openly again and again they dont want and wont put a solos mode in the game, but is this really how theyre gonna go about it? Just disable the No squad fill button I guess and leave it at that? Theres absolutely no reason I would be able to queue into a game mode (WITH TEAMS) like normal, no issues, then the game just stops working when I try to queue solo. That makes absolutely no sense seeing as it was functioning just fine before. 7 weeks now I log, uncheck the box, sit in queue for about an hour in the background while I watch something and browse after work, then alt F4 the game when it never starts. Doesnt matter if I clear caches, change dns, flush dns, no vpn, vpn, change server, relocate my house, change internet providers, just infinite queue, I would really like to play the game now please. Right? I get that it must be frustrating dealing with all the cheatin' kiddos, who come here to beg/whine about being banned; those of use with legit issues, though, get shoved aside with no more than the same parroted "solutions" from spewed at us from their "connection issues" FAQ. After which they just tell you to go read it yourself and/or use a different help portal that provides the exact same solutions. It doesn't matter if you've made it abundantly clear that you've jumped through all their hoops, and then some.
I've even been made to feel like I've done something wrong by sending my case to the TOS team, because of the nonsense startup message. Even after clearly stating the problem and knowing it's not related to anything I've done. Again, I'm clearly not banned, as I can play with compromised ping-times on servers I shouldn't have to play on - or alternately hope my friend is available to play, which works just fine on home servers. I'm pretty sure cheater/hackers don't get to still play online -- that'd be awfully weird -- right?
Despite that, I go along with the "you must've violated our TOS somehow" tale, just to see if I can get whatever this is figured out. They then say stuff like this to me:

Well, the only thing I'm "rest assured" of, is that they absolutely DID NOT get back to me, EVER (yes, EA, I checked my spam folders - I'm 40+ year old computer nerd with almost that many years computer experience, I know how stuff works). They simply closed my case and left me with nothing. Nada. Zilch. Oh wait, I got a temp suspension on this here message board for being too salty over this situation, probably my biggest "crime" committed on EA servers. But my saltiness is extremely justified, considering the level of service received vs. my investment in this game - hell, everybody's investment in this game; investment that has earned hundreds of millions for EA/Respawn. Never mind the sewage level ranking EA support is generally given, my experience here has only proven all those negative stories and ratings to be completely valid.
I'm even attaching the whole chat log for all to see, so it's clear I'm not just spouting nonsense....
I first posted about this back in April, along with several emails to support with no response to date, now well into July, thats 4 MONTHS! Still a problem, still cant play the game solo, still no response, still no update, why? Why is this a thing and why is it intentionally being ignored? I really enjoyed the game for the few months I was able to play before an update broke this feature, but now, after several months I dont even know if its worth trying to get back into at this point. Like quite a few other posts all over this forum and several others, I guess Im just another player they dont want playing the game. Thanks for the good few months and all my store purchases I guess will sit in a dead account after I uninstall the game. So disappointing, just really unfortunate.
