Merged Lower Account Causing Lost Items

This happened to me as well. My PSN account is a much higher level with many items and purchases I made. My PC account is level 60 and very few skins and no heirlooms. I never chose to merge my accounts, APEX/EA did apparently in June. All of my content from my PSN account has gone completely missing and my lower account has been merged into my PSN. Please help. I’ve contacted EA support and they keep marking my case as “Resolved” when it clearly is not. I have purchase transaction IDs and no one from EA apparently wants to actually help.

  • Hey @XanTheRudderbutt,

It doesn't look like this EA Account had ever launched Apex on a PlayStation platform until earlier this month.

That would mean progress you made on PlayStation previously would be on a different EA Account. Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc.

When the PSN account was moved off its original EA Account, it would have lost access to that progress. That's why your current account is using the PC content - it was the highest level on this particular EA Account.

You would need to re-link your PSN/Xbox or any other platform accounts to their original EA Account(s) to try restoring access to that content. While that's not always possible to restore, re-linking would be the only way to check. If you run into trouble getting the original accounts re-linked, please reach back out to support so they can take a look.

  • @XanTheRudderbutt Unfortunately, EA support at help.ea are the only ones who could help resolve the issue.

I would try opening another case with them, (and if possible), talk to a support agent, rather than sending in an email. You might have better luck doing so.

  • Hello,

I am not sure what that means or how to do it. I only have one EA account.
