Merging EA accounts to get cross progression
Attempting to merge my PSN and Steam account with long awaited Cross Progression from EA.
I'm here trying my best to figure out if someone can please help me. I've been told by EA help that there was nothing that can be done in my situation. I've played this game since the 2nd day it was released. I spent over $1000.00 on a PSN account over a few years and migrated to PC/Steam account which I've spent about $500.00. I would LOVE to merge my accounts but since I linked my accounts 5 days after the cut off time, I'm unable to be helped. While after this discussion I did refer to the https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/news/cross-progression and it says "Note: to prevent exploitation, any secondary Apex Legends accounts CREATED after Oct 26th for the same EA account, will not be eligible to be merged." Well... I haven't created an account, just trying to merge my 1k account to my steam account. It just sucks, you guys didn't inform us via in-game alerts (which would have been the best way). I just had to "hear" about it, then afterwards its nothing you guys can do. It's unacceptable from a company like EA. Please help.

Hey @dpasomnk,
To clarify, if you had progress on separate EA accounts, this was never able to be merged even before October 26th. This is not what's changing with Cross Progression.
Progress is stored on the EA account level, not individual platforms like Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, etc.
Cross Progression is allowing you to access the content on an EA account with any platform connected to that same account, not bring over progress from a different EA account.
If you had unlinked a platform to try this out and ended up losing progress as a result, you'll want to try re-linking that platform to the original EA account to restore the progress.
