Missing tokens and coins on Xbox/PC

(sounds passive aggressive after reading, I'm not and just want to be very clear about the issue)

To get it out of the way, I know there's no cross-progression. I was actually under the assumption that means what it means with the clients being truly separate with no effect to the progress on either. I assumed that when I play on Xbox with my account, I would be able to have access to my Xbox content that I unlocked as a day one player, you know, on the Xbox. When I got my PC in May, I had absolutely no issue starting over, since I knew there was no cross progression and I was okay with it, being that I'm on a new system. So I'm playing a bit, ranking up, 14 hours according to Steam + a start on Origin. 

The new update is coming out, and I still couldn't afford to buy the new legend at 5-6k tokens. On top of being much worse with mouse+keyboard at the time, I decided that I'd just install the game on Xbox again. I have basically infinite legend tokens, why not? And I could have actually enjoyed playing with controller again. Alas, after downloading all tens of GB, after downloading, waiting, and structuring my day around an update that took two hours after work, I hop on my Xbox to see that my LEGEND TOKENS and APEX COINS were gone. Uh, what? I had 850 Apex coins, 100 away from the battle pass which I could finally afford. Not sure how many tokens I had, but more than enough to buy the new legend given I have hundreds, if not thousands of hours since the HOUR this game released three years ago. 

My characters, skins, charms, rank *, etc, is all still there. But for some outrageous reason, the tokens and coins seem linked to the overall account, not my username/system/client. All I want is my coins back and a MINIMUM to buy the new legend, preferably on PC but fine with it on Xbox given that I earned the content on Xbox.

I know this doesn't effect anyone reading and I apologize if there's nothing that can be done, but it's a tough pill to swallow that I won't be able to play this game anymore if I can't even get what's essentially a time investment currency. You can't spend hundreds or thousands of hours on a game as an adult just to be told, oops, do it again.

After multiple case updates dealing with people who seemingly have no clue what I'm talking about - if they even read what I say - and I've been encouraged to deal with EA Live Chat. Only problem is I have a job, and fifteen minute breaks are not enough to navigate this website, let alone being able to explain this to someone. And it's closed by the time I get home.
