My EA email seems to be forcibly changed, resulting in bans and losses
After not playing for a few days, my Apex account was suddenly banned. After I raised the case on the EA Help website, EA replied that they did not find any ban records. I have submitted this question multiple times, but they still haven't found it. Until today, I suddenly realized that the email corresponding to my EA account had been changed to another email address.
When I logged into EA Help using this email, I found a ban record that exists. This is really unbelievable.
I usually play Apex through the Steam platform, which prevents me from initially noticing that my email has been changed, and my Battlefield series can still be used. My original email EA account is a completely new Apex game. It seems that my EA account has been split into two and there are also issues with binding it to other platforms such as Twich and Apple accounts.
I have not received any emails or other notifications regarding changes to my EA account. This suddenly happened until I found out that there was a big problem with the email of my EA account.
I have played Apex for nearly 3000 hours, and no matter what this game becomes, I don't want to lose it.
What exactly happened?
- Hey @lupuyinm,If the email was changed without your knowledge, it sounds likely someone else has gained access to the account. If you haven't already, please be sure to go through as many of these security steps as possible to help get your account and system back into your control. For any banned accounts you'll need to submit an appeal here to have our Terms of Service team review the ban. After that you'll need to get in touch with our support team to help recover the account itself. As they'll need to discuss private account details, that is not something we can assist with here on the forums. You can create a new case here and select Game Support > EA Account > I need help with my hacked account so the support team can assist with the actual account recovery.
