Need Help Cross-Progressing From Xbox to PlayStation

I just bought a new PS5 I have been playing Apex Legends on Xbox when I went to login it started a new account instead of my long term account that I had a lot of Legends unlocked with all my Legendary Skins.

I now cant logout of the current account to even try logging in on possibly another email or something to get all my stuff.

  • I bought a new PS5 and when i went to put my Apex account from my Xbox on it i instead got stuck with a new account. i have tried for hours to get help with no help. they say they are willing to help and don't. so i have all this super badass Legendary gear and all the legends unlocked on a System that cant support play anymore and i am stuck with my thumb up my **bleep** having to restart from scratch. BECAUSE EA doesn't allow you to idk just log the **bleep** out of the account and log into the one you wanted like what kind of genius sorcery is this Bull**bleep**?!

BTW been on Customer support messages going on 5 hrs at this point and 4th different person.

LilCasino1992 & Bhaller92 Your Apex progress and data is stored on your EA Account, (not on your platform accounts).

You would need to link your Xbox and PlayStation accounts to the same EA Account in order for your Apex progress and data to cross-progress.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

    > EA Help | How to unlink from an EA Account

Note: Apex progress and data also cannot be transferred or merged from one EA Account to another.

If you need to link your PlayStation Account to the same EA Account that your Xbox Account is linked to, you would need to sign into your EA Account using your Xbox Account as the sign-in method:

    > My EA Account | Connected Accounts

Once signed in, go to the "Connected Accounts" tab, and link your PlayStation Account to your EA Account.

Note: If it says your PlayStation Account is linked to another EA Account, you would need to sign into the PlayStation's linked EA Account, (which can easily be done by using the PlayStation Account as the sign-in method instead), and then go to the connected accounts tab to unlink your PlayStation Account from the EA Account it signs you into. Lastly, sign back into the first EA Account using your Xbox Account as the sign-in method, and then try linking the PlayStation Account to your EA Account again.

Furthermore, please keep in mind that there are risks for unlinking platform accounts:

    > EA Help | How to unlink from an EA Account> EA Help | How to unlink from an EA Account

In your two's cases, the unlinking risks should only be an issue for the EA Account that is linked to the PlayStation Account if it is a different EA Account than what your Xbox Account is linked to as switching the links won't transfer certain items:

    Hope this helps!
