If I play in game chat then everything is fine I can hear movements and music from the game but if I enter into an Xbox live party chat I lose all sounds from Apex. I have used party chat on other games with no issues. Apex is the only one that has issues. I have no heard of anyone else with a similar issue. Could it be a setting?

I tried both and neither work. I really need it in the headset to be able to hear enemies and other things..
Community ManagerGot it, thanks. I wonder if it might be an issue with the chat mixer. If it's set to focus only on voice chat it might be muting the game audio.
To check the chat mixer go to your Xbox Settings, then under General go to Volume & Audio Output. Select Chat Mixer and try choosing one of the other options. Let me know how it goes when you can.
