Nvidia 20 series max q support?

Hello all.

I recently purchased the new razerblade 15 with the rtx 2080 max q in it. I expected very smooth results from this game but its not playing very well at all. Im getting better results off of a gtx 970. Almost seems like the game is running off of the intel integrated graphics or something. Does anyone know if this game supports the new max q cards? And if it does, is there a way to tell the game to use mine?

Thanks all,

Happy Gaming!

As you suspect, your machine may be trying to use the video processing on your CPU rather than your GPU. Please try these steps to help prevent that:

    1. Open the nvidia Control Panel
    2. Click Manage 3D settings
    3. Click the Program Settings tab
    4. Click the Add button
    5. Select the game from the list or click browse and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Apex\r5apex.exe
    6. Select r5apex.exe and then Open
    7. Customise individual settings if you like
    8. Exit nvidia control panel and try playing.

If this does not help you, please post your Dxdiag so we can take a look, thanks.
