Do you have the Performance Display turned on?
My issue only seems to happen in Ranked Master/Diamond lobbies on the NA-East data center, and it’s completely random, just like you mentioned. From what I’ve noticed, it occurs specifically when you get placed on one of Apex’s Anti-DDoS variant servers hosted through AWS. You can tell you’re on one of these servers because, in the Performance Display, there’s a shield/homeplate icon that appears right after your ping stat. That icon indicates it’s the Anti-DDoS server variant. Whenever I’m placed on one of those servers, the problem starts happening.
