Progession and Items lost - Cross Progression

Hello,

When cross progression rolled out i was excited to merge my Xbox account (main account) to my steam account.

Prior to getting my cross progression notice in game i unlinked my Xbox account from it's EA account and linked it to my Steam EA account - in hopes the two would merge.

Needless to say, all items and progress from my Xbox (main) account was lost after unlinking it from It's EA account.

Due to the relinking period i had to wait 6m before trying to relink my xbox to its original EA account in hopes i would gain all my progress and items back.

A few days ago i relinked my Xbox (main account) to what i believed to be its original EA account but still no progress or items from my main original Xbox account.

Please help me recover all my items and progress from my main Xbox account.

Perhaps EA support can also help confirm which EA account my Xbox account was tied to during the time my prior Gamertags were being used so i can ensure i am logging into the correct EA account.

    I'm not aware of any situations where that's possible unfortunately so I don't want to get your hopes up, but that would be something to check with Xbox Support if the purchases were made on your console or through your Xbox profile.

    Progress lost during an unlink wouldn't otherwise be something we could compensate I'm afraid.

    Hey @ApexAngles1,

    Sorry to hear your progress still hasn't returned after re-linking the original accounts. There's always a chance for that progress to be permanently lost during an unlink and while that's sometimes restored by re-linking, it's unfortunately not guaranteed.

    As far as checking to make sure this was re-linked to the right account, that would definitely be worth checking with support just to be sure. We wouldn't be able to discuss any account details here on the forums but if you contact support with these steps they should be able to take a look.

    I had a feeling I might have lost everything unfortunately, just wanted confirmation.

    I believe I did reattach to the correct EA account because I have all my friends on my friends list that I had when I was on my main Xbox account.

    Thanks again for the quick response.

    Is there any chance to get a reimbursement for the money I had put into my xbox account?
