PS4 Account Disabled - APEX Legends

EA Account on PS4 disabled. Playing APEX Legends on PS4, and suddenly got the account disabled notification. I understand that this error has affected many people and that changing your account password will fix it. The thing is, my EA account email and PSN account email are completely different. I do have access to my PSN email. The EA account one uses a very old email address that I no longer have access to. I cannot enter my EA account with my PSN account as it notifies my that that account was disabled. I have opened cases only to be immediately shut down by support as I don't remember much about that account. I have always played on the PS3 and PS4 systems and never had problems with it before, so I even forgot I had that EA account. Nevertheless, that account IS connected to my PSN account and is where all my saved data on APEX is located. I have bought every season pass, have lots of skins and about to reach lvl500 on that account. Starting over on a new account is really not an option for me. I believe there should be a way to regain access to that account THROUGH my PSN account as all EA games have been played with that account on various playstation systems throughout the years.

PS. The EA account I am using to write this post is NOT associated to either accounts mentioned as I was blocked and don't have access.

  • Hi there, @Retenor96.

    Are you seeing the message about your account being invalid? If so, and you don't have access to the email on the account, the only way to potentially get access restored is to go through the account recovery process. It sounds like that's what you've done since you said you haven't been able to recall the answers to the questions about the account. Unfortunately, without answering those questions, we won't be able to verify ownership and restore access. The other option is to start over on a new account and PSN ID.

  • @EA_Aljo Man, you really just looked at this man who loves your game. Probably played hundreds of hours and spent over $100 on hour product... he wants nothing but help. He just wants to play his game and have access to the things that he earned and is entitled to. And you essentially told him to choke on it and do it all over again. This is why everyone hates EA. This is why you have the reputation that you have. And this is a public forum. You give customer support this unforgivable in a public place where everyone can see. Absolutely unbelievable how awful my experience as a consumer of your company has been.

    @bungbung19

    We're very limited with the help we can offer when you can't recall the details of your own account. If you can't answer basic questions about it, it doesn't look like you actually own it. We're not going to grant access to those that just claim they own an account. That would make it entirely too easy to steal someone's account. We want you guys to be able to play, but we also have some strict security policies in place to protect people from account theft.

    Welcome to the modern day EA bro. These developers and moderators don't care about the community. Not sure how this company is still afloat tbh. I was banned for absolutely no reason and no one can tell me why 😂 maybe they don't even remember what rules I apparently "broke".

    If we didn't care for the community, we wouldn't have such strict requirements for recovering accounts. This is done as a security measure for account theft. We also wouldn't be banning accounts for cheating if we didn't care about the community members that are legitimately playing.

  • “It you can’t answer basic questions about it”, when I answered EVERYTHING you required. And when submitted, in SECONDS, I got an automated email saying the case was taken down because of “lack” of information, which is why I constantly tried to talk to a REAL customer service employee about this issue and try to recover the account personally with them, answering ANY questions they may have. But in live chats and phone calls they always kept re-directing me to that account recovery form which NEVER worked for me. I am past this problem and had to create another account, but never ceased to amaze me how I couldn’t just talk to SOMEONE and regain my account with them one on one.

    @ultrabytes

    If you submit a case and request a call back, you should be able to get an advisor on the phone.

  • I updated the game and it said I was inactive for too long when I was only inactive for 2 days. It says I need to recover my account but for some reason it's sending the recovery email to my mom's email instead of mine that's linked to the account. I can't even try and update to mine because I already have me email linked to apex EA and I don't know why it's trying to tell me my mom's email is the email I use
