PS5 video settings reset after every startup

Literally the title.

  • Thanks for confirming. Could you try the following in this order:

    1. Confirm you’re launching the PS5 version of Apex, not PS4
    2. Delete Apex local saved settings
    3. Change Apex settings, then exit cleanly. In Apex, set your video settings, back out to the lobby, wait a few seconds, then close the game from the PS5 switcher. Relaunch and check. Don’t hard quit immediately from inside the settings menu.
    4. Temporarily disable cloud auto-sync for Apex
    5. Use PS5 Safe Mode > rebuild the console storage database

  • Hi, sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. Have you tried going into your console settings and turning off HDMI Device Link? It may also be worth checking whether the resolution you’re playing at supports the frame rate you’re trying to use.

    HDMI Link has always been off and yes the resolution does support the frame rate I've been playing. My PS5 video settings have not been changed at all.
