Re: Apex crashes after changing CPU and GPU. Unable to fix.

@RNM64506297

Make sure you fully uninstalled your previous video drivers, especially if the previous GPU was an AMD rather than NVIDIA.

If you are getting your audio via HDMI, check if disabling the Realtek audio has an effect.

Thanks.

  • @EA_Barry Game crashed on freshly installed windows. I can try turning off HDMI sound once I get home but I think I already installed drivers without nvidia sound driver

    Please do use HDMI audio and disable the Realtek.

    Reinstall the video drivers with the audio component if required.

    Thanks.

  • @EA_Barry I don't have sound with HDMI audio because I'm on headphones. I installed only realtek, origin and nvidia drivers and game crashed after 15 minutes of playing. Fresh windows with nothing running in the backround, zero overlays etc.. I just don't have any more ideas what to do. I had this issue in the past few times and it fixed itself after game update. There is not a single error anywhere to check what might be causing this, nothing in event viewer, I'm not getting apex_crash.txt in My Documents, not even crash dump anymore. Game freezes for 10s and closes...
