@-ETU-Daedalusthe tdr solution doesn't work. why posting it on forum ?I wasn't the one posting it.
There are several threads about the same problem on that forum. Go to the NVCP -> Help and mark "Debug Mode". This will disable any factory OC and set the reference clock frequency and voltage. This is quite good workaround for the problem, especially if you want to use the most recent 442.19 NVIDIA driver.
- @Racine39 It worked for me, why not post it? Are there others solutions here? Nope. So you didnt Want me to post the solution that fixed the problem for me? Thats just stupid and ignorant of you.
- @haxborn for how many times did you not encounter the bug?
@haxbornbecause,
1. you need to wait enough time to consider it works.
2. they work on this issue for a year... it seems to be more serious than a FPS problem or a delay problem.
3. i tried your solution, and all the solutions found on internet... the problem is in apex code...
4. posting this generate only frustration, and lost of time.
5. EA will recommend your post (without verification) and we will continue to get penalties ion ranked because they think its our problem...
Look attachment .... every day ... every day ..
I'm having the same issue and sick of it. I love this game but I won't play it if this is the norm and right now it is for me. Running latest drivers, latest Windows updates, Ryzen 3700x, 2080 Super, 32GB RAM, all plenty of power for this game. As long as this error has been happening to people and crashing their game you would think something more serious would be done about it!
Same here,
I got this error for months already and it's really triggering .... even switch my rtx 2080 ti in another pc and it's doing the same ... LOL it's obviously nvidia driver...
Config :
RTX 2080 ti
Ryzen 3900x
16 go ram
Nvidia driver version : 442.19 dch
I've also tried the tdrdelay regedit edit as well not working also tdrlevel same still happening..either with those regedit keys or without
EDIT :
I might have found the fix i disabled vsync in game video option while it was on triple buffered before and no crash after 2h of gamming for now
EDIT 2 : OK nvm it still happens but less than before . . ..

There is no fix to this on our side.
editing Regedit wont fix it.
changing ingame settings wont fix it.
changing driver settings wont fix it.
using no overclock or setting avx offset wont fix it.
updating/switching bios versions wont fix it.
updating/switching win10 versions wont fix it.
updating/switching drivers wont fix it.
I tried all this stuff, me and anyone i know with 20series cards
2080, 2080super, 2080ti are still crashing.
Heck even most of the streamers on twitch crash. Before season4 patch everything was fine.
The game sometimes even crashes us simultaneously, when standing near to each other,
our whole team gets it at the same time.
With the same error. With a multitude of
different hardware.
Just rollback the game patch... or fix it.
Edit: Only thing that makes the crashes appear less is
disabling Hardware acceleration everywhere, Browser, Discord, OBS, everything.
This is just embarrassing for everyone involved. I shelled out 1.5k for my 2080TI and I crash like 3 times a night playing with friends meanwhile their cheaper cards play this game perfectly. No other game has this problem. Every video Shroud puts out he crashes at least once and he can't complain due to his NDA. Twitch streamers crash all the time. And EA / NVIDIA don't know what is going on still. So embarrassing.
I have a 2080 Super and was getting this error randomly like most folks, 2-3 times during a few hours of playing.
On Monday I went to Nvidia control panel and unchecked “enable G-sync” under “set up G-sync” and haven’t had a crash all week (I’ve played 3-5 hours each night to kinda test it)
My monitor is a Zowie XL2740 in case your curious.

My raw specs I9 9900K, RTX2080Ti Founders Edition and been getting those device_hung_errors constantly.
I changed my video settings to:
VSYNC: Adaptive
Texture Streaming Budget: None
.. so far no error anymore. Could someone with a 2080ti please try this as well? Especially setting the "Texture Streaming Budget" to None. The game does not look very pretty then .. but no device_hung_errors at least. Trying to troublshoot here. Everything else I already tried (RegFIx up to Full WIndows Reinstall ...).
I'm going to test these settings on an RTX2070, but I had no issues Sunday night but then the Origin update came and ❤️❤️❤️❤️ me again.
edit: played for about 2 hours without crashing, but had similar results yesterday. Will try again after work tomorrow to see
- @Baws315 tryin this out... thanks mate

Merci fonctionne pour l'instant ,😉 3h de jeu sans aucun plantages
436.48 drivers have solved this problem. I no longer crash but these drivers are from September 2019. There are new drivers out today that should fix this problem but I heard that it's still NOT fixed.
In today's nVidia update, the patch notes says some crashes with Apex were fixed. I'm starting the test right now.
(442.50) has not fixed the issue. I have also tried capping my frames per second in Apex and in Nvidia control panel to 144 or 4 below my monitor refresh rate (161).
Specs - GTX 1080ti (EVGA FTW3)
Same here. Last Nvidia drivers patch didn't solve the issue, but they said on twitter that should solve it.
Actually, this error appear for me after updating nvidia drivers (Currently 442.50 v). I tried the following things without any result:
- Remove all graphic drivers and re-installing it again.
- Restore by default the BIOS (This fixed the issue but just for 1 day, next day DXGI_ERROR came back)
- Reinstall the game
- Repair the game
- Low graphics
I'll try today to clean again my graphic drivers and install the previous nvidia version (442.19) and check if I can play with that drivers. I hope so.
Anyway, after all that research, I got that why this issue appear for every user is different. Some people solved it restoring BIOS, others reinstalling video drivers, others after last nvidia patch... Respawn and EA should check this issue as a hotfix.I have finaly found the solution in my case. It might not sound like a satisfying answer tho.
After trying all kinds of solution (TdrLevel in registery, DDU reinstall, underclocking the CPU/GPU), I tried testing my RAM using Memtest86. That's how I found out I had a faulty RAM bar. After removing the faulty one and making sure the other bar was OK, I played for a few days without a single crash. I ordered a replacement and I'm hoping that one won't be broken. It's really weird that the error makes it look like it's related to the GPU.
Yes it still isn't fixed. If you want to play any games that require new drivers like the new Doom Eternal, you have to choose either apex or that. Insanity.
Ok Trial and error right i know i posted lots of fixes here so far this is whats working for me , i capped my frames at 70 and disable the vram thing even tho you see a warning and so far one hour no crash been crashing like crazy all day trying many different stuff but this seems to be good so far
Thanks for posting. Reposting here so your info can potentially be marked as a solution and to draw attention to your setup.
- SOLUTION is to set VSYNC to ADAPTIVE and limit your fps to less than your monitor refresh rate
This worked for me finally omfg
Hey ya'll,
Not sure how many people are still having this issue but, I never had this specific error until I installed the latest Apex update and the latest Nvidia 451.67 and the previous version to this which I believe was 451.48. 451.48 is actually when everything began. I installed 451.67 after that thinking Nvidia noticed their mistake, not so much. After weeks of having this error and trying all the online "fixes" nothing worked for me. I then removed both 451.48 and 451.67 from my system and installed 446.14. After the install all is working perfectly and I've had no crashes since. However, after installing 446.14 the reported driver version in GeForce Experience, Display settings and Installed Apps is 432.00. Not sure why but everything is working and I'm rid of the annoying issue that is the DGXI error! Hope this helps. If not, well I tried.
