Re: Apex Legends: Assigning a new key to alternate interact

goto

%userprofile%\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local\settings.cfg

You will see all the keybinds here you can edit these manually such as team mate thank etc.

  • Thank you! Your reply was a big help.

Apparently, the Action that Apex Legends uses for the "Thank You" is also "Gibraltar's Shield Toggle"

This was the line I ended up using:

    bind_US_standard "KP_PLUS" "+scriptCommand5" 0

  • I got to that file but then when I clicked "open" it instantly crashes

  • I'm playing as Wattson and in the settings H is now bound to some character utility? Why wouldn't they explain this new binding? I have no idea what it does and also get the [\] icon. Opened up that .cfg file and don't see anything about thanking teammates

Try binding the thank you/warning teammates stuff to "open quip wheel" under communication on the keybind settings. Works for me.

@CrankiiSago This also worked for me.
    Thanks

"open quip wheel" in keyboard settings is probably the easiest way to fix this.
