Ea_Kent. I play on pc.
I have an ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DY laptop, with windows 10 completely updated, and I have the same problem, after today's update, once APEX enters the Lobby it closes without any notice
My game is updated,My pc and all my drivers are up to date. But the game does not want to run
- @EA_Kent Same thing is happening to me but on xbox
- Im having this same issue, I play on PC and I'm using a core i5 7200U processor. Was working fine until the patch. There is no erroro message when the game crashes.
I have a Asus Tuf 505DT and have the same problem, only after the Apex update today!
My windows and all drivers including graphics are up to date.
I have restarted my laptop several times and logged out and back in into origin but no fix.
Tried to act as fast as I could by going to setting straight from the game lobby and reset all setting and realized that my VRAM was set to Very Big Ram and the warning in red was displayed, so I reset all settings (Video, Audio, etc) and the game stayed on until I chose a match.
Any other solutions OR can we all just delete and forget the game???
Don`t delete the game, just dont open the game for 1-2 hours. Are you playing on a desktop or laptop?
- I don't know guys how about you, but I already tried to don't open the game for few hours, and even more, I can't play from yesterday. And why this issue is closed?

Playing on Xbox one - keep getting kicked from games and get the following message “Connection to server timed out (code:net).”
Sorry cant help you
Did you repair the game and verify the game files? That might help. Or clear the cache on origin
Thanks, I haven't deleted it. I am playing on a laptop.
There was a Origin update stuck, so I ended the Origin from the Task Manager then restarted my laptop so the Origin update finally came down and ALL PROBLEMS FIXED!
I had an Origin update which was stuck.
Try this:
1. Open Task Manager (press "Ctrl", "Shift" and "ESC" at the same time)
1.1. Click on "Details" tab and find "Origin.exe" and "OriginWebHelperServices.exe"
1.2. Right click each of the above and click "End Task"
2. Restart your PC/Laptop
3. Open origin and check for updates in the settings
4. Launch the game and straight from the game lobby, go to the setting and reset all settings as fast as you can. Especially the Video tab.
5. Exit the game "Exit to Desktop"
6. Restart the game.
That worked form me! Let me know if it works for you.

Im playing on xbox one, and have not been able to play a single game in about a week or so. Cant even play a quest. I’ll get a couple minutes into it, my game will freeze and then it sends me back to the title screen with a server error. Ive tried EVERYTHING. Tried resetting router/modem, tried hard resetting my console, tried clearing cache, etc, etc, etc. NOTHING is working. Can somebody from EA/APEX please help!? Same thing is also happening to me on nhl 20, so im assuming its an ea-side issue.
If someone could reach out, that would be great
I cant even go to the main menu and I have a ps4
- @EA_Kent XBox One - Short Read error
For me after the update (pc) origin would pop me offline after about a minute saying it needed an update, but restarting didn't fix it using launcher. Tried to repair Apex, but couldn't get past 48% due to offline pops ( ping test said I was not offline on my end). Have is set to automatically update, so I didn't think it needed an update.
Tried launching from web browser, and updated origin there. Then repaired game for good measure (completed with no more offline). Closed web browser and went into desktop launcher and worked fine. Problem solved for me.

Hey all.
Thanks for the details! For you Xbox folks can you try a couple things for me to see if it helps? First, try running through the basic connectivity troubleshooting steps over at the EA Help site to see if that helps at all. If you're still crashing or disconnecting after that check out the Xbox-specific steps as well. Let me know if that makes any difference at all.
If you're getting an "invalid account" error, try setting a new password on your EA Account, if possible. That can often help get past this particular error message. You can find more details on how to reset it over at the EA Help site. If you're still running into the same error message afterward please reach out to the EA Help team so they can take a look. Visit the EA Help website for more details on how to create a case with them. You can also speak with them via Twitter or Facebook as well if you prefer.
